1. Who we are

Clausify ("we", "us") operates clausify.site, an AI contract scanning service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: email, name, password hash, plan.
  • Contracts you upload: stored encrypted and used only to generate your analysis.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, scans run, feature interactions, device and browser info.
  • Billing data: processed by our payment provider; we never see full card numbers.

3. How we use your data

To deliver the Service, scan your contracts, send transactional emails (verification, receipts, notifications), prevent abuse, and improve product quality. We do not use your contracts to train AI models.

4. AI processing

Contract text is sent to AI providers (e.g. OpenAI, Google) over encrypted connections strictly for the purpose of returning your analysis. We use enterprise endpoints that do not retain your prompts for training.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Access is limited to authorized personnel. We run regular security reviews and follow least-privilege access controls.

6. Data retention

Contracts remain in your library until you delete them or close your account. On account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days from production systems and within 90 days from backups.

7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from Settings, or by emailing support@clausify.site. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and lightweight analytics (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics) to understand product usage. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser without breaking the Service.

9. Children

Clausify is not intended for users under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app.
